for registered users of the Richter Educational Material website
Effective from May 1, 2024.
Richter Gedeon Nyrt. (headquarters: 1103 Budapest, Gyömrői út 19-21, company registration number: 01-10-040944, tax number: 10484878-2-44), as the data controller (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller" or "Richter"), hereby informs you, as a registrant on the website www.edumat.gedeonrichter.com (hereinafter: Website) (hereinafter referred to as the "User"), about the processing of your personal data provided during registration.

The following table contains all the essential information regarding data processing related to the Website, such as the necessary personal data to be provided, the data we handle, the purpose, the legal basis, and the duration.

Data provided during Registration: |
After logging into the Website, educational videos and product descriptions are available to users.
The purpose of managing the title, name, physician registration number, and password is to identify the user.
The purpose of managing the email address is to communicate with the user, and the email address is a prerequisite for validating the registration.
The purpose of managing the basic registration type is to provide Richter with anonymous feedback on the viewing of educational materials uploaded to the platform, without being tied to the individual.

We will process the personal data provided during registration until the user deletes their account or until the Controller deletes their account upon request, but no later than 7 days of inactivity. In case of 7 days of inactivity, if the User does not log into their account, the User's account will be automatically deleted (we will send a notification email to the User regarding this). In case of automatic deletion, the User can only access the content of the Website through a new registration. |
3. Source of Personal Data
Personal data is obtained exclusively from the data subject themselves.
4. Recipients of Personal Data
Personal data will not be sent to third parties.
The Data Controller does not engage any data processors.
There will be no transfer of data to third countries.
5. Rights of Data Subjects and Remedies
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR"), you are entitled to exercise the following data subject rights regarding the personal data processed by Richter concerning the Website by sending a request to dataprotection@richter.hu email address:

Right to Judicial Remedy |

You have the right to resort to effective judicial remedies, including the right to an effective judicial remedy under Article 77, without prejudice to available administrative or non-judicial remedies, if you believe that your rights under the GDPR have been infringed due to the non-compliant processing of your personal data. Legal proceedings against the Controller or Processor must be initiated before the court of the Member State where the Controller or Processor has an establishment.
The court shall act expeditiously in the matter. You may freely decide whether to bring an action before the court of your habitual residence or the Richter's registered office. You can find the court according to your place of residence or habitual residence on the website http://birosag.hu/ugyfelkapcsolati-portal/birosag-kereso. The Budapest Capital Regional Court has jurisdiction over proceedings against Richter based on its registered office. |
