Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient
Any substance, or mixture of substances, intended to be used in the manufacture of a drug (medicinal) product and that, when used in the production of a drug, becomes an active ingredient of the drug product. Such substances are intended to furnish pharmacological activity or other direct effect in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease or to affect the structure and function of the body.
Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) code
A unique code assigned to a medicine according to the organ or system it works on and how it works. The classification system is maintained by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Discontinued medicines
Medicines that are no longer on the Hungarian market but are still authorised and may still be available for use.
Medicines with black triangle ()
Medicines possessing a black inverted triangle symbol on Summaries of Product Characteristics and Patient Information Leaflets are under additional monitoring. This will allow quick identification of the new safety information. Healthcare professionals are asked to report any suspected adverse reactions.

You can also report suspected adverse reactions to National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy through the online reporting platform located on https://ogyei.gov.hu website or by downloading the reporting form from the website and sending it back via e-mail or by post (NNGYK, 1372 Budapest, Pf. 450).
Suspected adverse reactions report shall be sent only to one place (to NCPHP or us)!
Risk Minimisation Activity
Interventions intended to prevent or reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions associated with the exposure to a medicine, or to reduce their severity or impact on the patient should adverse reactions occur.
